Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Speech Therapy – Flr 1

Shift: Days / 7:30a-6p, 10×4, 40 hrs per week, 2 weekend days per month

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• ID License
• Must have 1 year of acute experience as an CCC-SLP and proficiency in performing MBSS/VFSS
• SLP with pediatric acute care, PICU, and NICU experience
• Must be able to evaluate and treat both dysphagia and cognitive deficits
• BLS
• CCC-SLP
• Proficiency in performance of MBSS/VFSS FEES (fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation) also available but not required.

Other Details:

• Charting System: Epic Systems Corporation – EpicCare Inpatient – EMR
• Okay with first time traveler
• Acute Inpatient, OP MBSS (modified barium swallow study)/VFSS (video fluoroscopic swallow study).
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neurologic-CVA, MS, Parkinson, Guillain Barre, cranial surgeries, spinal surgeries, only thing we don’t typically TBI; general medical, orthopedic-total joints, fractures; cardiac-pacers, CABG, valve replacements; oncology, don’t see transplant patients.
• Radius rule of 50 miles
