Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Speech Language Pathologist
Shift: Days / 8a-6:30p (10×4) 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday
Length: 13 weeks
On- call 1x a Month
Requirements:
- CA SLP License
- 1 year of experience
- Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology
- BLS
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Other Details:
- The Speech Language Pathologist position at NIHD is about 98% outpatient and 2% inpatient/acute.
- Outpatient: Approximately 60-70% pediatrics (all diagnoses and ages) and 30-40% adults (mostly post stroke or other neuro diagnoses). Usually 1 outpatient MBSS per week.
- Inpatient: We have very few patients in our inpatient setting who require SLP, but the most common diagnoses are acute stroke or other neuro conditions (all adults). Rarely to never do we have pediatric patients for SLP in acute care.
