- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3-5 years required; must be proficient at vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting; cardiac experience required 2. Cases: 5-6 cardiac/thoracic cases per day; cardiac first assisting required; robotics experience required; extensive OR skill set including CABG, CVOR, TAVR, VATS, endoscopic vein harvesting, and more as listed 3. Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, NCCSA, or ABSA accepted; CRNFA not required; approved certification boards include ABSA, National Assistant at Surgery Certification, and others listed; NBSTSA is currently under review for approval status — confirm prior to submission 4. License: WV license required; candidates may be submitted with a pending WV license but must have it prior to start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Option 1 — 4x10s, 0645-1715 with weekday and weekend on-call; Option 2 — 3x12s, 0645-1915; call requirement includes approximately one weeknight per week and a weekend; holidays require call availability; guaranteed 80 hours per 2-week period 8. RTO: Holidays will be required as call; only one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
