Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; CVOR experience required, open hearts preferred; 1 year minimum per compliance notes 2. Cases: CVOR cases, open heart procedures preferred; when no heart cases available: General, Gyne, Ortho, Vascular, Robotics, Cysto 3. Certifications: BLS required; AHA only certifications accepted 4. License: Valid PA License or Compact License required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 8-hour days, 7a-3p (or 5:45a-2:15p for 7am cases); weekday call 3p-7a; weekend call Saturday and Sunday 24 hours each day, split between 4 RNs, approximately once monthly 8. RTO: Required to work every other holiday; two pre-approved time off periods 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as travelers unless in different specialty 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates accepted at travel rate; may float to sister facilities within 10-mile radius 11. Background: Background policy must be noted prior to submission for approval before offer 12. Modules: Non-billable, approximately 1 hour to complete, required for all clinical staff prior to facility entry 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Extensive list including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, IABP, Hybrid OR equipment, and various surgical instruments Critical: Must complete fingerprinting and lab work within 24-48 hours of signing.
