Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Certified CVOR Tech
Shift: Days / 6:45a-3:15p, 8×4, 32 hrs per week, M-F
Length: 13 weeks
Start at 6a for Open Heart Case Prep (notified the day before)
Weeknight Call Requirements: 3-4 times per week, 1515-0645
Weekend Call Requirements: every other to every third weekend, Fri at 1515 to Mon at 0645
Holiday/Call Requirements: rotating holidays- must be willing to work holidays
Requirements:
- 2 years of CVOR experience, open hearts, CABG, Valves
- Must be able to first scrub
- Must be willing to cross train into general OR if CV volumes are low, for ortho or general cases, they will cross train to second scrub
- BLS
- CST or NCCT
- Must register with the board
Other Details:
- Charting System: Epic
- Must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume
- Average # of cases per day: 1-3 depending on the case as we do all thoracic and vascular cases as part of CV too
- Common Cases: Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneuryms) thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Stryker towers
- Radius Rule: 50 miles
