Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Peds CVICU 5th Floor

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12×3) 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • TX license
  • 1 year experience
  • PCVICU/PICU RN experience
  • Must be able to manage ICU assignment with intubated/Ventilated patient
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • EMR – Meditech
  • Managing care of a PICU patient with congential heart defects preferred
  • Managing care of a PICU patient on multiple vasoactive infusions
Other Details:
  • Floating Area(s):NICU, PEDIATRIC SURGICAL UNIT, PEDIATRIC INTERMEDIATE CARE UNIT, PEDI HEM/ONC UNIT
  • Number of Beds – 24
  • Number of Staff – VARIABLE BASED ON CENSUS AND ACUITY
  • Type of equipment – BAXTER MEDFUSION PUMPS, HOSPIRA INFUSION PUMPS
  • EMR – MEDITECH
