Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele C42
Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
On Call/Weekend Requirement: no on call; every other weekend required
Requirements:
- DC License
- 2 Years Experience of med/surg, MS/Tele, accessing ports, pre/post neuro surgery, peripheral nerve block catheters, chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac
- BLS
- Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment
- BSN Preferred
- Charge RN experience preferred
- Previous Charge Experience preferred
- Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
May come into contact with Covid Patients

2YRS – C42 Med/TELE- 36HRS 12
Shift: 3 x 12 Nights 1900-0700
On Call/Weekend Requirement: no on call; every other weekend required
Float requirement: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
Local Rate within 60 Miles of facility
Requirements:
– Pending DC RN license accepted but MUST have license prior to start date(***Aya Paid OPEN LICENSE PROJECT***)
– BLS
– 2 years of experience: med/surg, MS/Tele, Cardiac tele, interpretation of dysrhythmias, feeding tube, renal failure, IV start, Cerner charting experience
– BSN Preferred
– Charge RN experience preferred
– Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment

MS and MS/T nursing units at MedStar facilities are teams-based model of care, which impacts ratios and patient allocation.
Model will roll out incrementally to include 5 components:
a) RN + PCT/CNA/Tech
b) RN + PCT/CNA/Tech + LPN (as LPNs are available/hired)
c) Virtual Nurse
d) Lead PCT
e) Virtual sitters
*May come into contact with Covid Patients*
