Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele – 5 Limb/Plastic Surgery

Shift: Rotating D/N or Nights / 12×3, 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

On Call/Weekend Requirement: no on-call requirement, weekend rotation included (every other required)

Requirements:

  • DC License
  • 2 years of experience (MS/Tele, Surg/Tele)
  • Experience with wound care/wound vac and surgical drains
  • BLS
  • Experience with Cerner charting system
  • At least 1 travel assignment completed if less than 4 years of experience

  • Ratio: 1:6
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity

Shift: 3 x 12 N or D/N – 36HRS/Week

Job/position Description: Our 16-bed Plastic Surgery and Limb Salvage unit, with all-private rooms and the ability to offer continuous pulse oximetry, provides exceptional post- operative care for patients undergoing complex procedures. Common surgical procedures include reconstructive plastic surgery, diabetic limb salvage often with reconstructive flaps, complex wound management, and surgical wound care. This team is notable for its collaborative interdisciplinary practice. Our nurses work closely with an exceptional Nurse Practitioner team, who assist to create a strong standard in patient care and facilitate a communication pathway among the physicians, physical therapists and clinical pharmacists on a daily basis.
