Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele Float

Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a (12×3) 36 hours per week, every third weekend or 6 weekend shifts per schedule; plus holiday obligation

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

  • MO License
  • Minimum of 2 years MS/Tele experience
  • 1 year MS experience
  • IV start and Telemetry required
  • BCLS
  • ACLS
  • Past EPIC experience strongly preferred
Others:
  • Will accept first time traveler
  • Will float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro, cardiology units
  • Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are considered local. Local candidates are not accepted

Minimum of 2 years MS/Tele experience. Past EPIC experience strongly preferred.”
Medical: Nurses will float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro, cardiology units
Ratio- 1:5-6 for Days and weekends, 1:6 for Nights
Avg. Daily Census: 28-50 depending on unit
Beds: 31
Will float to all Medical units, renal, oncology, and neuro
Will work every 3rd weekend
Special Equipment: lift devices (will train), ceiling lifts, and bladder scanner
BCLS required for MS
BCLS and ACLS required for Tele
IV start and Telemetry required
2 years experience required for Tele
1 year experience for MS
Will accept first time travelers

Float process: If we pre-assign the worker to a particular unit for any part of their contract with us, it will be communicated to the worker along with the timeframe for the pre-assignment.

Workers that remain in our float pool are asked to call in to a recorded line up to 1 hour before the scheduled shift start time, to receive their unit assignment for that shift.
