Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele Neuro Acute 6N

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, 2 weekends per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • AZ License
  • Must have minimum 2 years experience
  • Level 1 trauma experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • BSN preferred
  • Certified in Med Surg/Tele preferred
Other Details:
  • Floating: Possibly to Med surg/Tele floors
  • Charting System: Cerner
  • All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes
  • Required to pass DYS exam prior to accepting. 2 attempts
  • # beds: 48 total – 10 epilepsy specialty rooms
  • Ratios: 1:4 days and nights
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Epilepsy, 24-48 Trend EEGs, Brain tumor, Subdural hematoma, scoliosis surgeries, TBI, Neuro dx.
