Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele Float 48’s

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekends and holidays required
No call

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • 2 years’ experience
  • Must be proficient with Insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips
  • BLS
  • CPI
Other Details:
  • No locals – 50 mile radius
  • Traveler will float between MS/Tele and IMCU
  • Nurse Patient ratio is 1 to 4/5
4×12’s, Nights, 7p-730a
Weekends and holidays required

MS/Tele patient population includes, Cardiac, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal, General Surgery and Orthopedics to name a few. Our team consist of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/US and unit secretaries. Experience it all on our 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit Ratio 1 to 6

IMCU is a 37-bed intermediate care unit. Diagnoses include: Stroke, Sepsis, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal Failure, etc. Nurse Patient ratio is 1 to 4/5
IMCU also utilizes the following additional skills: stable vent management, hemodynamic drip titration, arterial blood gas collection, elective cardioversion, peritoneal dialysis and more.

Traveler will float between MS/Tele and IMCU
