Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele – 5th Floor 48’s

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, Will also accept 36’s, EOW, EOH

Length: 13 weeks

Can be placed on-call 1,12 hr shift per pay period in the event census drops

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • 2 Years Experience
  • Must have Telemetry experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Epic experience preferred

Other Details:

  • All units may handle COVID patients
  • Traveler is expected to float to like acuities or less if needed
  • Accepting local travelers 75 miles or closer 
  • No Flu exemptions/declinations accepted including adverse reactions notes and religious exemptions
3×12’s or 4×12’s, Nights, 7p-7a

Care includes diabetes, stroke, kidney failure, respiratory distress, sepsis, liver disease, low risk cardiac, CHF, syncope, post cardiac Cath (low risk), post pacemaker (low risk), pneumonia, COPD, viral respiratory illnesses and other medical issues. Our care team is composed of RN’s, LPN, nursing assistants, respiratory therapist, physical therapist, and many providers to meet the complex needs of our patients. Our nursing team frequently manages IV’s and access devices, NG tubes, various drains, urinary catheters, and wound vacs.

5TH Floor:5 Main is a 15-bed medical surgical/cardiopulmonary unit. Unit focuses on adult patients with variety of medical, surgical, and cardiopulmonary issues. Nurse to patient ratio’s are 1:5/6 and nursing assistant ratio’s are 1:8/10

Accepting local travelers 75 miles or closer
