Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele – Trauma Unit 2

Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12×3, 36hrs per week, every other weekend and every other holiday

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

  • OH license
  • 1.5 years of MS/Tele nursing experience
  • Must read and interpret tele
  • BLS
  • Travel experience preferred

Other Details:

  • Travelers are first to float
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
Traveler’s permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility 
•Title: Med Surg Ortho RN *must read and interpret tele*
•Shift: 3×12’s Day Shift (0700-1930), every other weekend and every other holiday
*Travelers are first to float
Minimum Qualifications:
•1.5 years of MS/Tele nursing experience
•Travel experience preferred
•Must be able to read and interpret tele
•Must hold BLS certification
About the unit:
MS Tele unit, nursing ratios 5:1, can flex to 6:1 pending staffing (this rarely happens), RN draws labs,
COVID patients on unit (RN provides primary care, ratio 3:1, rotation between staff to prevent burnout
Most surgical patients (Ortho, GYN, Spine, Urology etc.), ED patients (ex: DM, COPD, Headache, etc.)
