Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Pulmonary Intermediate PCU 4W

Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • KY license
  • 2+ years’ experience
  • Proficient in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy (including PICC line management, dressing changes), IV medications (administration of antibiotics, drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, cardizem) & Tracheostomy Management, Intermediate/step down experience
  • Must have Cerner Experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
  • Proficient with BiPAPs and high flow and Proficient with chest tubes, Pulmonary disease management preferred
Other Details:
  • EMR: Cerner Required
  • Float to any other PCU or Med Surg
Patient Ratios: 4:1, can go up to 5:1, 3:1 for BiPAP teams
Type of Patients on Unit: Mix
Number of Beds: 21
Equipment: BiPAPS, High flow, and telemetry monitoring, occasional Cardiac Drips
