Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Stepdown – Yawkey 6 Medical IMCU

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • MA License 
  • Minimum 1 year IMCU experience
  • Minimum of 2 years med surg and tele experience
  • Experience with neuro care, MI’s and trachs is required
  • Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and pass telemetry test on Day 1 with 85% or better. 
  • Experience with auto med dispensing system is required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • IMCU or critical care experience preferred
Other Details:
  • Dept Details: mixed IMCU/neurology/med-surg patients, 27 beds with a high number of IMCU patients, High neuro, medicine and cardiology patient mix, care for chronic vents, trachs, high acuity heart failure. 
  • Average patient ratio: 1:3(IMCU), 1:4 or 1:5 for med/surg level of care
