Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Nursery 48’s

Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, will accept 36s, Holiday rotation. Every other weekend as needed

Length: 12 weeks

On-call Req (Y/N): Yes, 2 on-call shifts every 6 weeks for those working 3x12s

Requirements:
  • SC License
  • 2+ Years Experience
  • Experience with routine newborn care, ability to attend deliveries and resuscitate infants at delivery
  • AHA BLS
  • NRP
  • 2 + years’ experience with level 2 babies (premature deliveries, 32 weeks and above) preferred
  • STABLE preferred

  • Floating is required to sister units

Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? Yes, floating is required to sister units. As the nursery RN, they will be expected to catch and transition babies in L&D within the 1st 2-3 hours of life. Will also be expected to float to Mom-Baby where they could take a newborn assignment. (Mom-Baby/Couplet Care preferred)

Required/Preferred

Years of experience REQ: 2+ years-Experience with routine newborn care, ability to attend deliveries and resuscitate infants at delivery. Ability to transition infants after delivery
Years of experience Preferred: 2 + years’ experience with level 2 babies (premature deliveries, 32 weeks and above)
First-timers accepted: NO
License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license
Certs REQ (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)): BLS, NRP
Certs Preferred: STABLE

RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
