Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool

Shift: Variable or Nights (12×3) 36 hours per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:
  • CA License
  • 2 full recent years of mixed pediatric ICU experience (icu floats, PICU, CTICU, ect)
  • Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG experience
  • BLS
  • PALS
Other Details:
  • First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
  • Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
  • Flu vaccine required
Client will consider clinicians with pending CA license at time of submittal as long as they have utilized the Aya licensure program and we have an expected date for their license to be live

THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION – PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Required:
CA License
First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
BLS
PALS
2 full recent years of mixed pediatric ICU experience (icu floats, PICU, CTICU, ect – NICU does not count as as one of the years)
Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG.

Shifts:
3×12 variable or nights ***Please note Rady has removed the 7th shift requirement for CCFP travelers starting 8/21 and later

Requested Time Off:
Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)
No holiday RTO will be approved upfront

Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, **neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness

FLU VACCINE Required

COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
