Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PICU

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12×3) 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Requirement: 50% weekends depending on needs

Requirements:

  • ID License
  • 2 years experience
  • Advanced skills needed: experience with ventilators, high flow, chest tubes, IV placement, experience with central lines, urinary catheter placement, NG placement, trach care
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • Looking for previous PICU experience, trauma & burn preferred
Other Details:
  • Documentation system:  Meditech
  • Will float to other units if PICU is low census
  • Number of Beds : 6
  • Patient Ratios : 1:2 (sometimes 3 if they are step down patients or Peds patients)
  • Type of equipment : Ventilators, central lines, art lines, alaris pumps
Navy blue scrubs, can wear a pediatric friendly top
