Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PICU 4F

Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, 5 weekend shifts in 6 weeks
Length: 13 weeks

Holiday Requirement: potentially- expect to work at least 1 during a contract

Requirements:
  • ID License
  • Must have 2 years of PICU experience
  • Required to titrate drips
  • BLS
  • PALS
Other Details:
  • Ok with first time travelers
  • Radius rule of 50 miles
  • Charting System: Epic Systems Corporation – EpicCare Inpatient – EMR
  • # of Beds: 12 (in summer census is around 4, and winter months 6)
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Trach/vent, DKA, respiratory, surgical (trachs, g-tubes, shunts, hernia repairs, seizures) no cardiac
  • Floating Requirements: Peds for full assignment, frequent floating
