Travel Nurse (RN) – Pediatric CVICU – Newark, New Jersey – 928399

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – CVPICU

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, Every other weekend (Sat/Sun)

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• NJ License
• Must have 2+ years of PICU critical care experience with 1 year of cardiac experience
• Experience in BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, trachs required
• BLS
• PALS
• NRP preferred

Other Details:

• Must be competent to care for CT patients with ASD (arterial septal defect), VSD (ventricular septal defect), AV Canal Defect, Valve replacements, Glenn and Fontan procedures, TOF (Tetralogy of Fallot), s/p cardiac cath and ablations, cardiac transplant, post cardiac surgery
• Charting System: EPIC
• Will float to Pediatrics, and NICU if needed for an appropriate assignment
• There may be additional float units based on skill set and hospital needs
• First time travelers are not accepted
• Locals accepted
• Patient Ratio: 1:2+
• 19 beds on the unit
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Unknown
