Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Operating Room

Shift: Days, 6:30a-7p, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

On-call REQ: yes, up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
Weekend REQ: up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks.
Holidays: Traveler will be required to work at least one of the holiday periods.

Requirements:

  • SC / Multi State Compact License
  • 2 years strongly preferred
  • BLS
  • Level 1 trauma required
  • Radiation Badge (*Radiation badge to be provided by agency)
  • Scrub Experience preferred
First-timers accepted

Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift

Hospital Highlights

The Main Operating Room is within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, to include; Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing teams consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologist. RN’s are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The Main OR is a busy and dynamic nurse driven, Magnet designated department, that provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC.
