Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MedSurg/Oncology

Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, rotate EOW, holiday as needed

Length: 13 weeks

Must have previously worked a night shift within the last year

Requirements:

  • NC/compact license
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • 1 successful travel assignment 
  • Must have oncology & bariatric experience
  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS preferred
  • Epic: Required
Other details:
  • No new travelers
  • Float : To alike units, based on census –  Med Surg, Orthopedics, Bariatrics and PCU – possibility of floating to Respiratory Care to care for COVID patients
  • Unit Information (Bed Size, Case Type, Patient Ratio): Med/Surg-Oncology 37-bed unit;  Medical admissions to the unit include patients with cancer, pneumonia, hypoxia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dehydration, deep vein thrombosis, infections, gastrointestinal disorders, pancreatitis, substance abuse, mental status changes; Surgical admissions include patients undergoing general, bariatric, vascular, urological, gynecological, endoscopic, plastic, podiatric, ear, nose, and throat surgical procedures. 
  • Ratios are Days 1:5/6  & Nights 1:6-7
