Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Oncology 7th Floor

Shift:  Days / 7a-7p, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, Holidays- Rotate in w/ staff

Length: 17 weeks

Requirements:

  • GA License 
  • 2 years of experience required in specialty, no first-time travelers
  • BLS
  • Prefer NIHSS, ONS if want to do chemo
Others:
  • EMR Meditech
  • Charting System MEDITECH – 6.1
  • 75 mile radius from the travelers driver’s license to the facility
  • Floating – Rarely, to medical acute
  • Unit Oncology-7th floor and outpatient, travelers will only work on floor
  • # beds 29 beds
  • Ratios 1:5, on occasion 1:6
  • Nurse Aides Yes, generally 3 per day
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patient’s – Acute oncology symptoms, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, hematology, medical overflow, oncology, end of life care
