Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – NICU Level II or III

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hours per week, On call requirement: 2-12 hour shifts per month

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • CO License
  • 2 Years Experience
  • AHA BLS
  • NRP
  • STABLE preferred
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing is preferred
  • 1 year experience preferred Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty

Other Details:

  • Level II NICU – 5 beds
  • Will be expected to perform postpartum and transition • Staffing is dependent on census- o If there are zero NICU babies in house, there is one NICU RN on. NICU travelers either function in the transition role or take a well-baby assignment. o If there are any babies, there are a minimum of two RNs. o If there are 1-2 babies in the NICU, one NICU nurse will be staffed in the NICU, the second will be on L&D functioning in the TSN/PP role. o If there are 3-5 babies in the NICU, both NICU nurses are in the NICU • The NICU unit sits inside the Labor and Delivery unit that is only separated by a door. •
Floating may be required: will only float within the zone for a critical need

COVID-19 Initial Shot(s)

               • All workers, including remote, must be fully vaccinated.

               • Fully vaccinated is defined as 2 weeks after the completion date of a

                              o 1 or 2 dose monovalent vaccine series, or

                              o 1 dose bivalent vaccine


               • Exemption for Medical or Religious are reviewed by the client and must be completed using the Centura COVID Exemption form located in Egnyte.

               • Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, AstraZeneca and all World Health Organization accepted vaccine manufacturers are acceptable
