Travel Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical) – Wilmington, North Carolina – 915340

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg – 9S Medicine III 48’s

Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, Will also accept 36’s

Length: 13 weeks

Call required if put on call prescheduled shift.
Traveler will be assigned to every other weekend
Must be able to work holidays

Requirements:

• NC License
• 2 Years Experience
• Must be able to take insulin and heparin drips.
• BLS
• CPI preferred
• Epic Experience required
• Charge Nurse Experience preferred

Other Details:

• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
• Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS EPIC, SBAR
• Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding.
• Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
• Locals Accepted
• Possibly of taking care of COVID patients.
• Target Ratios: 1:6-7
• Patient Diagnoses: Adults and geriatrics. General Med/Surg Patients. Daily census ~43.
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
