Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Medical Surgical – Nrs-Colo Uro

Shift: Days, 7a-7:30p, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, No on-call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • MO License
  • 2 Years Experience
  • BLS
  • Skills required: Med/Surg, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, Insulin, PCA
  • EPIC required
  • BSN preferred

– The following drips are administered on our unit: Heparin, Lidocaine ( pain only), Bicarb, Bivaldirubin
Amiodarone ( Stable Non Titrated ) occasionally
– We also have PCAs, Epidurals and CBIs with different irrigation solutions
– We have centralized tele – preferred that Nurse should have some basic knowledge of tele
– Special Procedures/Unit Details: foleys, CBI continuous bladder irrigation; TURPS, protocols for colorectal patients
