Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Medical Surgical – Surg Trauma

Shift: Days, 7a-7:30p, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, Fri-Sun, weekends

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • MO License 
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Med/Surg, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Insulin, PCA, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Level 1 Trauma Experience skills required
  • Electronic Documentation required
  • Trauma Level I Experience required
  • BSN, TNCC preferred
  • Previous Charge Experience preferred

Weekends, Friday-Sunday schedule

Start date: 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier

RTO Restrictions: please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract- If a shift is missed, please work to make up as soon as possible if able
Can have no more than 3 tardies and 2 call ins in a 13 week contract or can result in a cancelation. Will reset for every 13 week contract.

geriatric trauma: 55 yo + with trauma
Trauma: Abuse/violence victims, MVA, MVC, Falls
Acute Care Surgery: appendicitis, gallbladders, hernia repairs, fistulas, wounds, burns, TBI
