Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg 5W 

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a (12×3) 36 hours per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• IN License
• 2 years experience
• Mustt have  EKG training- able to recognize cardiac rhythms, Med/Surg experience
• BLS
• 1 year minimum preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: Epic
• Float required
• Number of Beds: 21
  
• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
  
• Equipment: IV therapy, VS machines, NG tubes, continuous pulse oximetry, telemetry monitoring, mobility equipment i.e. walkers, overhead lifts, wound/surgical site vac therapy
• ype of Patients on Unit: total joint replacements, general surgery i.e. appendectomies, open cholecystectomies, colon resections, cystoscopies with stents. Bariatric sleeve surgeries. Continuous Bladder Irrigation, chest tubes, small bowel obstructions, COPD, CHF exacerbations. Cellulitis and chronic wound patients. CAPD and HD patients
