Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med Surg 6th Floor

Shift: Nights/ 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs/week
Length: 13 Weeks

Weekend Requirement: 5 weekend shifts in a 6 week period- travelers are utilized to fill in gaps.
Holiday Requirement: Yes- if there is a need

Requirements: 
  • ID license
  • 2 years of MedSurg experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret tele
  • BLS
  • Must have EPIC experience
Other Details:
Will float between MedSurg 5, MedSurg 6, and a 9 bed overflow unit
Could also float to ER for holds or to be a 1:1.
Must be willing to take students, may be precept new travelers
# of Beds: 42
Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5 occasional 1:6-very rarely happens
Common diagnoses/Types of patients : Primarily a Medical floor with a little surgical overflow. Respiratory, GI, anything medical that you wouldn’t do surgery on, behavioral health- if pts been in ER for more than 1 day will room up here to work on d/c plan.
Facility has a radius rule of 50 miles
