Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg – Floor 6

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Requirement: 5 weekend shifts in a 6 week period- travelers are utilized to fill in gaps.
Holiday Requirement: Yes- if there is a need

Requirements:
  • ID License
  • Must have 2 years of MedSurg experience
  • Must have EPIC experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret tele
  • BLS
Other Details:
  • Must be willing to take students, may be precept new travelers
  • # of Beds: 42
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5 occasional 1:6-very rarely happens
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients : Primarily a Medical floor with a little surgical overflow. Respiratory, GI, anything medical that you wouldn’t do surgery on, behavioral health- if pts been in ER for more than 1 day will room up here to work on d/c plan.
  • Radius rule of 50 miles
