Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg – AC5

Shift: Days, 6a-6:30p, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
  • IN License
  • 1.5 years’ experience
  • BLS
  • NIH
  • ACLS preferred
  • Skillset Requirements: Med/Surg, pre/post neuro surgery, total joint replacements, Trauma Level I, II, III, or IV, IV Start required. Ortho trauma, & interpretation/management of dysrhythmias preferred
Other Details:
  • Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
  • Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS – Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by 
  • Locals not accepted
  • First Time Travelers Accepted

Effective 11/30/24, will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
**Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**

First Time Travelers Accepted

Shift Requirements: 3x12s
Every other weekend

Will work with RN to balance preference and unit needs

Certification Requirements: BCLS, NIH required. ACLS preferred

Skillset Requirements: Med/Surg, pre/post neuro surgery, total joint replacements, Trauma Level I, II, III, or IV, IV Start required. Ortho trauma, & interpretation/management of dysrhythmias preferred

Floating Requirements: Yes

Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
Minimum Experience Required: 18 months

Unit Information: Orthopedic, GYN, Urology, Neurosurgery, Medical patients
Total Joint Replacements
Continuous Bladder Irrigation
Hysterectomy
Chest Tubes
Neurosurgery
ENT Surgery
All Bone Fractures
All medical diagnosis (COPD, Pneumonia, UTI, Cellulitis, COVID, Small Bowel Obstruction, etc.).

COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):  Not Required
