Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – LDRP/Womens Services Flr 3 48’s

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, no call

Length: 26 Weeks

May work a holiday if there is a need during contract

Requirements:
  • ID License
  • Must have 3 years of L&D experience
  • Will accept 2 years with prior travel experience or 3 years with no travel
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • STABLE
  • Must have mother baby experience – prefer 1 year
  • Must have experience and be able to attend deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, Circulate C/S, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care
  • Must have experience with magnesium
  • Charge nurse experience preferred
# of LDRP Beds: 14 LDRP- patients stay in the same room
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 32 week gestation and greater, HTN-getting mag, BACs, TOLACs, some gestational diabetes, community has a lot of home birth midwives so a lot of the population comes in for medical intervention and pain control. Do have some antepartum patients. Do not take placenta previa or placenta accreta. Serve a very diverse population.
Scrub Color/Dress code: Hospital issued scrubs-required to be changed in to and out of at beginning and end of shift.
Okay with a first time traveler.
