Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – SICU

Shift: Variable D/N, 6:30a-7p/7p-6:30a, 12×3, 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

The majority of the shifts are day shifts

No Call Requirements, weekend included in rotation, holiday coverage expected

Requirements:

  • DC License
  • 2 years of experience: telemetry, vents, high acuity unit
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • 1 prior travel assignment completed *a first time traveler will be screened*
  • Pulmonary Artery Line experience preferred
  • Level 1 trauma and post op experience preferred

Other Details:

  • EMR: Cerner
  • Float: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
  • Will be primarily recovering general surgery patients
CVRR SICU RN 36s
Shift: 3 x 12 D/N Variable 36HRS/Week: Day shift hours are 0630-1900/Night shift hours are 1900-0630 *The majority of the shifts are day shifts. Up to two weeks of the six week schedule could be Night shifts*

On Call/Weekend Requirement: No Call Requirements, weekend included in rotation, holiday coverage expected

Float Requirement: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

Requirements:
– DC RN Licensure; Pending DC license accepted but MUST have license prior to start date (***Aya Paid OPEN LICENSE PROJECT**)
– BLS

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU). Aside from clinical care such as skills with ventilators and tracheostomy tubes, travel ICU nurse jobs need a RN who can deliver progress updates and support to patients and/or their family.
