Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12×3, 36 hrs/week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Holidays: no holiday requirement at this time but they may be required to work

Requirements:

  • CA license
  • 2-3 Years Experience in specialty
  • Must have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics if they do not have this experience then they must have experience with post-TPA pts
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • PALS Preferred

Other Details:

  • EMR: Cerner
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: trauma – travelers must have this experience, neuro-strokes, head injuries, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring – candidates MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics if they do not have this experience then they must have experience with post-TPA pts
  • First to Float
  • Floating: any of the tele or medsurg units
  • COVID Vaccine Required (Certification)

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU).
