Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU/MS/Tele/PCU Staffing Resources Float Pool

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, Holiday Rotation

Length: 13 weeks

Holiday Requirements: Will include travelers in perm staff rotation

Requirements:
  • AZ RN License
  • At least 1 year in ICU setting
  • BLS
  • ACLS
Other Details:
  • Charting System: Cerner
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: PCU 1:4 MedSurg Tele 1:5-6
  • RNs required to titrate drips
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients Geriatric patients, ortho patients, strong cath lab program so post procedural patients, caring for groin sites in stepdown unit. Post MI, post Cardiac Cath. CABG post-op day 3-4
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Currently – solid color professional scrubs. October will allign with Dignity guideline which will be Navy scrubs

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU).
