Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU Neuro – CFT 6 Floor 48’s

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a (12×4) 48 hours per week, will consider 36s, Every other weekend

Length: 26 weeks

Requirements:

  • ME License
  • 3 years ICU experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS

Other Details:

  • EMR: EPIC
  • Float Requirements: Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU based on HCP experience
  • Patient Ratios: 1:2
  • Number of Beds:  32 (20 Medical 12 Neuro ICU)
  • Type of Patients on Unit: This 20 bed Medical Intensive Care Unit in a tertiary care and teaching institute. Patients cared for on this unit are primarily those with medical complications related to sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA and others.

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU).
