Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU Step-Down

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, Holidays required, No On Call

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

  • NJ License 
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the ICU & S/D
  • Experience and competent in working with pulmonary patients, vents, trachs, hanging drips, incubation
  • Telemetry experience
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • ASN required
  • BSN preferred
  • 3-5+ years highly experience preferred
Other Details:
  • Must be willing to float or downgrade as needed
  • Must be willing and able to treat and manage patients on unit with a variety of conditions (including but not limited to flu, Covid, heart issues, lung issues,etc).

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU).
