Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Cardiac ICU

Shift: Nights, 6:30p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, holiday as needed

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: 
  • NE RN License
  • 1 year of experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
Other Details:
  • Floating Requirements: Mainly to PCU but can go to all areas in the hospital depending on abilities
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2 with occasional 1:1- TPA, balloon pump, recovery of crani
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Young adults through geriatrics, sepsis, STEMI, COVID, stroke, neurosurgery, renal failure, respiratory failure, COPD, cancer, DKA, Gaymar Hypothermia, Arrow Balloon Pump, Camino Neuro monitoring, CRRT, Impella, EVDs, Lumbar drains
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: RN: Navy Blue

CVICU

Cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) travel nurse jobs provide care to acutely ill patients who are recovery from cardiothoracic (CTICU) conditions or events, such as open heart surgery, AAA repairs and CABC. A CVICU travel nurse must be capable of administering care on a full spectrum, from clinical tasks such as medical history analysis and diagnostic testing, to personal care such as counseling patients and family regarding home-care and wellness. Overall, the CVICU nurse treats some of the most acutely ill patients in the hospital, and must do so safely and compassionately.
