Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Case Manager
Shift: Days / 8a-4:30p (8×5) 40 hours per week, rotating weekends
Length: 13 weeks
Holidays – as needed
Weekends – Every 5-6 weekends must work one shift)
Requirements:
- Must have DC License
- 2 Years Minimum Experience
- Must have experience with discharge planning, obtaining facility choices, sending referrals, issuing IMM and other Medicare letters
- Must have 1 prior travel assignment
- LMSW/LGSW/LCSW
- BLS
- Home Health, Hospice, telephonic, previous charge experience preferred
Social Worker/Discharge Planner – 40 hrs Days
Must have DC License in hand –
Shifts: 8am – 4:30pmDay and rotating weekends
START DATE: 10/14
Will accept RN Discharge Planner or Licensed Social Worker
Social worker must be eligible for LMSW/LGSW/LCSW -they must have taken and passed the exam already
Certs Required: BLS,RN or LMSW/LGSW/LCSW
Work Setting skills Req: Cerner, Acute Hospital, Insurance Company, Long Term Acute Care/Rehab/Skilled Nursing
Work Setting skills Preferred: Home Health, Hospice, telephonic, previous charge experience
Case Management/Utilization Review skills required: Admission Criteria, Benefits Eligibility, Care coordination, Discharge Planning, Needs Assessment/ Order DME, Plan of Care, Pre-Cert Review, Prior Authorizations, Worker’s comp case management
Regulatory Skills Required: CMS: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Department of Health, HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), The Joint Commission/ Core Measure/National Safety Goals
Regulatory Skills Preferred: Worker’s Compensation
Any Special Requirements: Must have experience with discharge planning, obtaining facility choices, sending referrals, issuing IMM and other Medicare letters
Patient Diagnosis: Geriatrics, ICU, Heart and Vascular, General Surgery, General Medicine, MICU,
Holidays – as needed
Weekends – Every 5-6 weekends must work one shift)
Cerner is required
Uniform: Business Casual-Associate’s appearance should be clean, neat and professional. NO SCRUBS
2 Years Minimum Experience Required
Must have 1 prior travel assignment
