Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – LPN – Home Health

Shift: Days, 8a-4:30p, 8×5, 40 hrs per week

Length: 16 weeks

Requirements:

  • HI license
  • 2 Years Experience
  • AHA BLS
  • 1 year Home Health experience preferred
  • Electronic Documentation preferred
Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler

Days 5x8s; 25 units productivity per week; typically no weekends; no on call; scrubs (any color) and closed-toed shoes required.

Certifications REQUIRED: BLS (AHA), HI License

Skills REQUIRED: Patient/Family education and support; Tracheostomy Management; Mouth care; Pressure ulcer assessment/prevention; Simple dressing changes; Wound Care/Wound Vac; Wound Drains/JP/Hemovac; Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD; Follow up phone calls; Patient health questionnaire/history/allergies; vital sign monitoring

Skills Preferred: Home Health; Crisis Intervention; Degenerative Disorders; MatrixCare documentation; Stroke Scale Assessment; Ambulation; Cast Care; Crutch Walking; Establishing an airway; Face mask for oxygen delivery; nasal cannula; oxygen administration; ventilators; Case management; coordinate services; resumption of care; routine visit; admission of patient; de-escalation protocols; discharge of patient; intake and output monitoring; interpretation of lab results; isolation precautions; labeling of specimens; med reconcilliation; pain assessment management; pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
