Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – LPN Outpatient Clinic

Shift: Days, 8a-4:30p, 8×5, 40hrs per week
 
Length: 12 weeks

Expected to work on holidays

Requirements:
  • GA License
  • 4 Years Experience
  • BLS
  • Cardiology experience, Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
  • Electronic Documentation preferred
1st Timers are accepted
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Ratio / Census: 4 Rooms with 1:10 patient ratio; average daily census of 5-12 M-W, 15-30 TH

Floating: Rare, but could be floated to another clinic

Other Details:

Minimum Experience: 4 years; 1st Timers are accepted

Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required: BLS

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Generally, patients are seen in clinic in afternoons M – W. Thursday clinic is usually 9am – 3:30pm. Mornings are admin work: obtaining images, patient follow-up, returning messages, surgical authorizations, etc. There are no nights, weekends, call, or major holidays working. When patients are in clinic, position requires working up patients, vitals, suture/staple removal, putting in electronic orders. LPN will need cardiology experience, cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred.

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1
Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
Labor Day: Monday, September 2
Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29
Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Pre-Screen Unit – Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
