Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum required 2. Cases: ICU patients including open heart surgery and heart and lung transplant cases; acute care/critical care setting proficiency required 3. Certifications: BLS required; CWCN or WOCN wound care certification required; all certifications required at submission unless specified otherwise 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend; must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs; flexible end-of-shift time; no patient handoff at shift end 8. RTO: Screenshot confirming RTO and schedule requests required at submission; requests with less than 7 days RTO prioritized; no RTO accommodated after offer 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff must be gone minimum 1 year before eligible for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits not accepted 12. Modules: RN average 18 hours non-billable modules; 4 hours EPIC training plus up to 18 additional hours; completed pre-start and annually 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Wound care equipment including VAC therapy, various dressings, ostomy equipment Critical: Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing. References required.
