Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Telemetry Advanced Cardiac Therapy (ACT)
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12×3) 36 hours per week
Length: 13 weeks
EOW requirement Fri & Sat) or to meet the needs of the unit
Requirements:
- IN License
- 1-2 years MS/Tele experience
- BLS
- ACLS
Other Details:
- No locals
- Must be greater than 50 miles from facility
- May be asked to float to other like MS/Tele departments with the same Nurse to Patient ratios
- Scope of role: Advanced Cardiac Therapy Unit. Primary patient population are Heart Failure patients or patients with cardiac primary diagnosis (NSTEM, STEMI, s/p Watchman or Cath Procedures, New onset A-fib, A-fib w/ RVR). Manage cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dobutamine, Heparin) and IV pushes of Metoprolol, Lopressor, Digoxin, Cardizem, etc). MS/Tele patients with cardiac history.
- Ratio: 1:4 or 1:5 but no more than 1:6
