- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required; must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years with at least 1 year of current specialty experience for clinical pass 2. Cases: Oncology experience preferred but not required; Head and Neck cancers, Neuro-oncology, Brain tumors 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, NIHSS, OCN listed with asterisks 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12D/N rotating contract with days, nights, or combination; self-schedule requests; first week orientation Mon-Fri dayshift, second week 36hrs on-unit 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; previous travel experience preferred 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 72 orientation hours total 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: B450 monitors GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds Critical: Must complete fingerprints immediately after signing contract. Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Skills include IV starts, tele, tracheostomy management. Patient ratio 1:5. Two professional references required with at least one from formal leadership.
