Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU – 3rd, Neuro Med/Surg
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- TN License
- 2 Years Experience
- Med/Surg Experience
- Ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IV’s, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes.
- BLS
Other Details:
- Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple C/L staff scheduled
- Number of Beds : 20
- Patient Ratios : 6:1
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Type of equipment: IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCD’s, Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology
- Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members. Bedside shift report, ability to make personal connections with patients and include them/family members in their plan of care.
