Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) Evansville, IN

$1,784.00 to $2,034.00 weekly

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Cardiovascular Stepdown

Shift: Nights / 6:30p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week (will accept 48 upon request)

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend/Holiday Requirement: 3 weekends out of every 6 week schedule.  Every other holiday

Requirements:

• IN RN License
• Minimum 3 years of strong Cardiac/Tele experience required
• 2 travel assignment required
• Trauma level II experience required
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)

Other details:

• Float Requirement: First to float within skillset
• Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, etc.). PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubes
• Unit Information: 32 beds.  Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:5-7; CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes an assignment on NOC shift
• No local canidates (40 mile radius rule)
• Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required — Subject to change
• Scrubs – No competing health systems or agency logos
