- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years required; must show 1:5 ratio experience in Work History section for SD or PCU (ICU experience does not count) 2. Cases: Neuroscience intermediate care including CVA, TIA, seizures, brain tumors, complex spinal surgeries, neuro disease processes 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required; IV Start preferred; must be AHA certification 4. License: Any state RN license accepted; can apply for temp license on offer (5-10 days); compact license accepted; no past license actions accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Must work every other weekend/holiday; 48-hour contract with OT after 48 hours 8. RTO: Request with initial submittal only; no RTO added after offer; maximum 14 days allowed; manager's discretion 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; local nursing staff not accepted 11. Background: Facility does not accept any past license action 12. Modules: 18-24 average hours during orientation; up to 24 hours billable; up to 8 hours annually; self-reported to manager 13. Travel Experience: Preferred 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue Scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Heated high flow, bipaps, trach/vents Critical: Must pass online EKG tele competency assessment before starting. Must have ventilator experience. Lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract. Patient ratios 1:4-6 (targeted 1:4.5). Will float first at facility's discretion. Facility can cancel 2 shifts due to low census and cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice.
