Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Stepdown Unit – Stanton 6/SDU
Shift: Rotating D/N, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, every other weekend, Will rotate within the same week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- MA License
- Must have min 2 years of experience
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS preferred
Other Details:
- 20 total beds in unit
- Ratios 3:1 for step down, 5:1 for MS assignments
- Will float to MS, ICU to care for step down and MS/ED if needed
- Pt pop: Cardiac: Cardiothoracic surgery, CHF, Afib/RVR on drips diltiazem, amiodarone, lasix, esmolol, cangrelor, lidocaine, nitroglycerin, Respiratory: COPD, NIV: BIPAP, high flow nasal cannula, hydrocortisone drip, Neuro: Q2hr neuro checks, Q2hr seizure checks, continuous EEG monitoring, IV dilantin Renal: Peritoneal dialysis, Q2hr BMP for hyponatremia, ETOH patients requiring IV phenobarbital. Stanton 6 is a mixed intermediate care unit
