Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU

Shift: Variable D/N, 7a-7p or 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, No call

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend rotation: every other, may rarely work occasional consecutive weekend

Requirements:

• WA License
• Minimum 1.5 years experience
• Skills required: cardiac rhythm interpretation, trachs and bipap management (continuous as long as stable), invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, chest tubes, IV medication titration (diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, dopamine, dobutamine, heparin, Lasix (does not need experience with all, just majority), experience w/CIWA patients
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Other Details:

• Floating: ED overflow, ICU to care for PCU level patients, any medsurg floor, Covington PCU or MedSurg
• Consider first-time Traveler? yes
• Patient Types: respiratory distress, ESRD, AKI, COPD, gi bleeds, sepsis, general post-op, CVA’s, ETOH, overdose, CHF, post Cath or IR, CIWA; NO craniotomies, NO major traumas, NO major cardiothoracic
• Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC; IV pumps: Alaris; medication dispensing: Pyxis
• 131 bed level III trauma center w/30 PCU beds
