Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Cardiovascular Progressive Care E4
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, FRI-SUN, No call
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend requirements minimum – 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday day/night) per 6 week schedule period
Flexible to work Holiday
Requirements:
- NC License
- 2 years experience
- Stepdown experience
- Telemetry experience
- Must have prior CV critical care experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- CVICU experience preferred
- Prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience (open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, and fem-pop bypass) within a year preferred
Other Details:
- EMR – Cerner
- Floating: Any SD (1:5 ratios) or MS (1:6-7 ratios) unit, ER inpatient holding area (1:6).
- Number of Beds – 40 cardiac surgery stepdown beds
- Patient Ratios – 1:5 patients per RN, 1:13 for PCT’s
- Type of equipment – Baxter IV pumps, CADD epidural pumps, various lifts
Scrub Color/Attire – All navy, white tops/navy bottoms, or all white.
